Grants for Individual Artists
Due on Friday, June 12
In this time of uncertainty with hope for better days ahead, the Nantucket Arts Council would like to award a Round #2 grants to individual artists who may or may not work with a non-profit institution.
The grants will be prioritized to be given to individuals who serve our community through teaching, performing and creating and have recently been not able to continue with a normal workload due to the pandemic.
To fulfill the expectations of the grant, the Nantucket Arts Council will sponsor the Nantucket Arts Festival this fall (October 3 – 11) during which the grantee will perform one concert (mini-concert thirty minutes) lecture (hour presentation) participate in the annual art show (open for nine days).
