Spring ArtWeek Nantucket

For 10 days from Friday, April 27 through Sunday, May 6, Nantucket will celebrate its abundant visual and performing arts with performances and demonstrations in most creative disciplines. Spring ArtWeek Nantucket, the island’s newest celebration, coincides with and is coordinated with the statewide ArtWeek Massachusetts.

Downtown Celebrity Concerts: Greta Feeney, Soprano

Nantucket High School alumnae Greta Feeney, a soprano praised for her beautiful vocal timbre, performs vocal selections from the baroque era and opera, appears on Sunday, June 3 at 4 p.m. A past student at the Julliard School and formerly with the San Francisco Opera, Greta made her international debut with the Singapore Symphony Orchestra. A baroque specialist, Feeney has performed as a soloist in some of the world's most prestigious concert halls including Carnegie Hall, Alice Tully Hall, Merkin Concert Hall and with numerous chamber orchestras. The former executive director of Nantucket Music Center is part of Nantucket Theatre Institute at White Heron Theatre Company.
